Faultline Collaborative asks what causes people with complex mental health needs to fall through the cracks — and how to fix it.

Faultline integrates 3 sources of information.

Systems Data

What services and supports are supposed to exist?

Administrative Data

What do the numbers show?

Lived Expertise

What actually happens when people seek help?

The hardest problems live between systems—and the people experiencing those systems are often the best source of information about where they are breaking down.

What we do

  1. Translate lived experience into actionable intelligence.

We center people who’ve been through the system to reveal how policies actually play out on the ground.

  2. Map real journeys.

Journey mapping and narrative analysis show where clients hit barriers, get turned away, or fall through the cracks.

  3. Diagnose failure points.

Interviews, surveys, policy analysis, and data review pinpoint exactly where access breaks down and who is harmed most.

OUR PROCESS

IDENTIFY THE FAULTLINE → CO-DESIGN THE SOLUTION

The Faultline Collaborative

Faultline is led by a core principal and supported by a curated network of professionals and people with lived experience. Rather than maintaining a large traditional consulting staff, Faultline assembles project-specific teams tailored to the challenges, systems, and communities involved.

The Collaborative may include people with lived experience, caregivers, behavioral health and systems experts, educators, attorneys, policy and Medicaid specialists, researchers, data analysts, and organizational strategists.

This model ensures that each engagement is informed by the perspectives of those most affected by the issue, alongside the technical expertise needed to develop practical, sustainable solutions.

These perspectives create Faultline's formula for meaningful change:

Lived Expertise + Systems Expertise + Data
